Mercy Foundation
A not-for-profit corporation, Mercy Foundation strives to identify and fill the unmet health care needs of Douglas County residents. Established in 1973 and managed by a board of respected citizens.
Mercy Foundation's ability to help make stable, compassionate health care widely available in our community is dependent solely on the goodwill and support of individual citizens, businesses, and other foundations.

The Oregon Community Foundation
The mission of The Oregon Community Foundation is to improve the lives of all Oregonians through the power of philanthropy. They work with individuals, families, businesses and organizations to create charitable funds — more than 2,000 of them — that support the community causes they care about. These funds support the critical work that nonprofits are doing across Oregon. Through these funds, OCF awarded more than $103 million in grants and scholarships in 2015.
The Ford Family Foundation
The Ford Family Foundation is a private, non-profit foundation located in Roseburg, Oregon. Roseburg lies in southern Oregon where the North Umpqua and the South Umpqua rivers join — timber country. A Scholarship Office in Eugene, Oregon, supports Foundation scholarship recipients attending college or university.
Started in 1957, the Foundation now manages large, internal programs and offers scholarships. In addition, the Foundation makes grants to public charities predominantly benefiting communities in rural Oregon and Siskiyou County, Calif. Their heritage comes from such communities and the men and women who created them.
The Ford Family Foundation offers a collection of programs in support of their Mission:
The Successful Citizens component of their Mission addresses the various stages of an individual's growth — from developing children to educating youth to finally becoming a contributing community member.
The Vital Rural Communities component supports the development of communities — from leadership training to capacity building to economic vitality.
